A friend of mine has at least $100,000 worth of credit card debt plus a second against her house and now has no income coming in. She is using her credit cards to pay her monthly bills. What is the best avenue for her to take to resolve this problem. I suggested that she claim bankruptsy or ask the credit card companies to reduce her monthly payment for a least three months she can have an opportunity to generate some money from her business.

I'm look for a relatively nice 2br whatever in Tucson, AZ that is cool with cats/dogs as boo and Mr. Chip are soooo not gonna get left behind.

Anyways, I'm going to work the job i seek into what I need to make monthly. This is the budget I have "planned"

MAX
Rent $600
Phone $50 *better cell or home?*
Electricity $300
Food $75
Pet Food $35 *$10cat, $15dog*
Gas $100
Save $50 *for emergancies, of course*

Total of $1200 a month with a required full-time pay of $9.38/h which translates to $7.50 take home pay with 20% taken out for taxes. Am i over/underestimating anything, really? Rent I'm hoping to pay closer to $500, but better to plan for the "worst", yes?

And I will move with the money needed to get started. $2000 in trust fund as well as $3000-4000 in my own savings.

Answers/tips are much appreciated, and I know I didn't factor in internet.

I am seeking a personal loan in the amount of $30,000.00. I am willing to repay this at 12% interest over 60 months with the payment being $560.00 monthly.
It is needed to pay off my second mortgage and some credit card debts.
I can easily afford this payment if the other items are repaid. I currently do not have enough available equity in my home or I would go through a bank, paying off my second mortgage will give me about $28,000 of equity in my home, thus being able to refinance my first mortgage, thus paying off this loan sooner, which is what I am aiming for here.

A stranger has appointed me to be the beneficiary of his money. He decided to transfer the money to me as he will not be able to manage the use of the money because of his bad illness; and he does not rely on his family. However, I requested him and his lawyer to provide me with relevant legal documentations that among others declares that the money is clean, even though he claimed so in his email. His lawyer replied in his letter e-mailed to me "We need your bank account details to impute in the legal documentation work, only thereafter will we be able to provide you with the documentation work requested. However, be advised that all procedures are within the legality of the laws governing transfer of this nature and prior to remittance, we shall have all needful legal backing and documentation exempting the funds as proceed from any illegal activities as well as document(s) protecting you as the legal beneficiary to the title as requested".

I received two gift cards for two different linen stores and would rather have cash which neither store will provide. I understand that some states require a cash refund by law. I'm taking a road trip soon and wonder if I will be passing through any of the states where I can trade in my gift cards for cash.
