when they withdraw money. Also would it really have on the statement that they have for example, £50,000,000 or whatever!

Yes, we do. It's evidence of how much was withdrawn, when and where. And you don't become a millionnaire by keeping all your money in a current account.

Spoof: I give more to charity that you can imagine. Also, have never owned a car, I walk or use public transport. I'm not mean but I'm not flashy either. Last year I was lucky enough to be able to pay for someone's IVF treatment, and she had a beautiful baby girl. That's the joy of having money.

I believe many rich people live on credit. Ie card companys and banks give them ultra exclusive cards where they litterally have tens of thousands of pounds of credit available for use. This way, they keep all their money locked in high yield accounts, and still get to spend massive amounts with no restrictions. Ps. I never get mini statements out of the ATM and Im no millionaire!

If he's a halfway smart millionaire, he wouldn't leave that much money in a checking or savings account where the interest rate is some ridiculously low rate.

I doubt they even use ATMs. They are a money drain and most people do their banking on the internet. They have advisors and hav e accounts that void out such fees.

Most don't have "normal" bank accounts. They have higher yielding accounts to maximize their funds potential.

Probably depends on their lifestyle - some millionaires are the most frugal people and scrimp and save every penny - just because you have money these things don't change and they're probably the same as they always were :)

I don't think they'd keep that much cash in a transaction account!! More likely in shares, high yield accounts, offshore accounts, gold, and property and businesses.....

But, no, I don't think they would bother to get mini-statements!

You usually find that it is the richer in society who are so tight, greedy and self centred, so i believe they will watch every penny. You find they don't give to charities, don't give any tips or donations to the less fortunate. Just look at the british MP's for start and how many company bosses are in jail for tax evasion, etc

All of us canny millionaires keep very little in current account, so we do need to check balances frequently.

They probably have their bank send them a copy once a month. Just a perk. And believe me they do keep track as they take it out.
