I am going to a camp this summer for 3 weeks. It is a highly honored Christian leadership camp that is very very hard to get into. I was accepted into the camp but now I have to pay for it. Some one told me to write a support letter to my family and friends. Does any one know how to write a good letter? I have never been good at writing, buy I need the funds to go to this camp. Any helpful suggestions would help. I am expecting to get a job this after noon (I got a call about one this morning) but that job will not provide enough for me to go. I really need some help with this

I have a checking and savings account with Bank Of America and I'm really tired of having them screw me over. I want to go to a bank that offers free checking and that has really good account options. I live on the Treasure Coast in Florida. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My husband and I are now seperated. He has been ordered to give me 10,000 out of his 401K. So he does not have to pay the taxes ~ he wants to transfer it to a IRA for me. In a few years I would like to be able to access this money and buy a home. I am clueless on how IRA's really work. Just going on this info ~ can someone give me advice on which would work better for me?
Thanks a lot!

I came into extra money thanks to my taxes.
I wanted to know if it's better to apply it all to one card to pay down debt OR split it up among my other cards?
I know I read somewhere which is better.. but I forget.

A friend told me he had received a e-mail telling him he had won a lottery in yahoo, I told him it sounded like a scam, and I think it is a way of people stealing your identity and getting into your bank account.
What do you guys think?

Hello all So, I accumulated this debt during a bad time in 2005 and since January 2006, I have been paying off £400 a month, through PayPlan a legit debt managment company that doesnt charge me. I have 6 creditors and used to have a debt of £11k!Thing is Im going to uni. in September to be a Student Child Nurse and the bursary is approx. £584 a month, not including rent, so I will have about £5 a month to spare for each creditor for 3 years! Im sure most of the creditors will not accept this and close my account and demand the full amounts, so is there something else I can do to sort this out. ie; an IVA etcAny help appreciated.Thanks.

I am a recent college grad. and during college I had a two credit cards and other small accounts. It has been 7 years now and I have heard that these accounts will be charged off in that amount of time but the creditors continue to send me "deals" to pay them off. Although I am working I do not have the extra money to pay that, student loans, etc. So I would like to know is it better to let these accounts be charged off or what? I would like to get my credit score up, but I make enought money to take care of the present not the past. What should I do?

Is it possible? Of course it is. But how do you get there if you did not hit a jackpot or received an inheritance:
