I have a family. Two adults and two infants. We have not been trying very hard to live frugely and live on an average of $3,500 ($808/week) expenses each month. We own two cars, two houses (all fully paid for). We know we need to learn how to save properly and would like to know what everyone else lives on.

The way I worked this out is to subtract what is left from how much we earnt after tax at the end of the year. The difference is our expendiature per annum.

I graduated from high school in 2006. After that my parents said I couldn't live with them anymore. So far I have been living in a small apartment with 2 of my friends and we split the rent 3 ways. I work almost 60 hours a week and I am just so tired of this lifestyle. I can't afford to go to college and my parents wont pay for it. All the good jobs want me to have a college education. Any advise for me?

I am looking for a small loan $1000 - $1500, to help cover student expenses like books. My credit is not stellar and I'd rather not get a credit card, I already have too many. I know there are these kinds of loans out there - does anyone know of any good ones? Thanks!

I need to get my roof done. I have saved up $20,000 the roof will cost me $6500. If I finance it it will be with a 9.99% interest rate. I don't really want to use cash I have never saved that much money before, but I don't want to run my credit either. What will be better.

The recipient doesn't have a Paypal account and I'm loathed to give any account details of mine away online. I'm therefore wondering how to go about sending the payment via post. Any help would be very welcome.
