I am about to start a new job and I will be on £120 a week, so just wondered which bank account do you think I should use, as it goes directly in there? Like who gives the best deals etc.. (I am from the UK!)

My overdrawn amount was 150 pounds & I had several thousand pounds in a savings account with the same bank on the day I went overdrawn.I should also add,that i have been with this bank 17 years.

As I see it there is only investing. If you hold cash you're investing in a currency (the USD, Euro, swiss franc, etc).

Gold, diamonds, etc is also an investment.

A CD is a low yield, low risk investment account as is a traditional "savings account".

As I see it it is impossible to save money.

What do you guys think?

I decided to go back to school to finish my B.A. last year. My grades suffered as I was working full time. Now for next Sept. I found a part time job, but I am wondering how to pay for car, credit cards, gas & food on less than 1/2 the income that I had. I am thinking about consolidating my credit cards, but don't think this would give me enough income still to survive modestly.

Has anyone else done this? how did you manage your finances? I don't wanna ruin my credit.

I am filing for chapter 13 and I just got a used car. If i file for chapter 13 will the creditor reponses my car. Also, I have one of the creditor ganishing my check. what do you think people!

can I sue aol for taking money from my checking account without my permission? They finally repaid the money they took from my checking account $378.00 without an appology or explanation. I have never even ordered aol as my internet provider. I don't know how they got my bank account number.
