If you do not have any collateral, it might be very difficult to get a loan. Your best bet is probably seeking help from one or more famly members.

Here in the United States, we also have pawn shops where you can drop off something of value to get instant cash but you generally have to buy it back with interest or they will sell it. I don't know if you have that there or not.

Good luck!

Borrowing £900 for a holiday is not the way to enjoy yourself. You might have a brilliant time but you will find that by the time you get back, you have the £900 plus whatever interest rate there is on top. Due to your poor credit rating, the interest rate will probably be higher. I know this is not what you want to hear, but the fact is your job is a temp one, you may not have a job for long after you come back - then you have no way to pay back the loan.
You would be better trying to look at your income and expenditure, understanding your budget and trying to eliminate unnecessary spending. You could maybe try to save money and take your break after your contract ends. If you NEED a break before then, perhaps a cheaper one could be found. I don't know if you already have debt but if you want help with debt or budgeting, you could contact credit action. http://www.creditaction.org.uk/

I know this does not exactly answer your question.. but it might prevent stress later.

If you don't have any money and your credit history is bad then maybe you shouldn't be thinking about a holiday. If you have repayments to make when you get back you wont enjoy it. Best to get an extra job instead and get some money behind you. Sorry if this answer is too sensible or too boring but sometimes you just have to be sensible and avoid huge problems. Talk this over with your parents...

If one of my daughters EVER tried to walk out of our house like you discribed either me or my husband would kill em. You can't blame the kids for it after all they are just kids, they see it every where they go at school, the stores, other kids, stars etc. It is all about showing it off and the parents are getting it for them because it is easier to get it than to stand up to a kid and tell them no. I just recently went shopping for clothes with my 14 year old daughter and it seemed the whole day it was either no, not in this life or like he**. A 12 yo girl just got kidnapped, raped and beaten in our area by a 17 yo boy, when they took him in he kept telling the cops she asked for it didn't they see the way she was dressed. It is a shame a child has to go through this because an adult won't stand up to them and tell them no. My girls can hate me and although they aren't covered head to toe they are covered and those t-shirts advertising sex and everything else are banned from my house as well.

Sorry, but if I was broke and living at home I would concentrate on improving my education and job, not going for a holiday. Good luck!
