Because of the my bank branch location, I cannot make deposits during it's office hours. Thus, I wonder how to ATM deposit. Can one only deposit cash or checks too? What are the guarantees that the envelope will not be lost?

If someone can write step-by-step guide, I would appreciate it. Believe it or not, never did it before!

Thanks

I was using money orders, however, one got 'lost in the mail'...and I found out it is at the discretion of the money order company, whether or not to refund the full amount. I have heard of prepaid credit cards. Do I need a bank account? Has anybody had experience with them? Is there some method out there that allows me to purchase it, mail it, trace it, and stop payment for refund if anything happens?

I know some companies just try to take more money from you by offering these benefits, so I don't know if I should do it or not. The NSF fee is $35 and the overdraft protection service is about $4 minimum for each month that I use it. I don't really know how all this works anyway, so I don't know if it's a good deal or not.

I have about 4600 on my credit card and due to financial difficulties and a history of late payment they now want the entire balance. I wasn't able to pay them for about five months.I haven't had the guts to call them to see if I can still work out a payment plan. What can I do? Obviously I don't have 4600 to pay them on hand.

Can I get another credit card with another company, pay off the balance and start paying down the debt that way without angry citibank bugging me? I can now afford monthly payments to an extent (nothing outrageous but enough to pay down the debt) but given my history I don't think CitiBank will let me do it now.

I know the payment gap will show on my credit report but will it stop me from getting another card just to appease citibank. I know the interest rate will be ridiculous but the company won't be so anal about really high payments due.

Any suggestions? And no lectures on the evils of credit cards. I've learned my lesson. Still have to pay

Hello. I wanted to know if anyone has ever applied for a personal loan with these people. They required that I sent 670.00 before they gave me my 6500 loan because of my bad credit. Now when I call they hang up in my face. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem with them. I think it was an internet scam. Thanks for your answers. (Dont apply at chasefg.com)!!!!!!

I had a current account with Halifax designed for under 18s. Now I'm 18, and have got a place at a Scottish university. Do I have to set up a student account with overdraft at the Bank of Scotland, or with Halifax? I'm confused because someone told me they are the same?

My bank , as a "courtesy" to me will go ahead and cover a check if the funds are not there but they charge me 30$ for this courtesy.
The problem is that last month alone without notifying me that my account was so screwed up they took $990 which i could have prevented if they just would have called me or something
Sowhat I want to know is there a limit they can take before having to notify the account holder?
