draw a budget before you get your money and adhere strictly to it.

For one thing you need to start a budget. Next get rid of that credit card as they can really get you in a bind. Put away your change in a jar and don't touch it and later on you will have money to have some fun with. Start a savings and a checking account and keep an accurate balance. Use your checks to pay your bills and don't touch your savings at all and let it grow. Do not use your checks to buy a bunch of stuff either. Put 250 a week into your checking and 25 in savings and keep the rest for spending money. Also, don't borrow or loan money unless it's necessary! You may need to sit down with your parents and make a financial plan that will work for you.

jjust a suggestion, you can have another savign account that do not have any card or credit card link to it as to prevent easily access to teh cash only by going directly to teh bank.
