Contrary to what the above person said, a Psychologist is NOT a doctor. A Psychiatrist is a medical doctor, but a psychologist need not have a PhD.

Try going to Salary.com and searching for Psychologist using your zip code. In my area the median salary is about $77,000 a year.

Well if you just have your Bachelors you have to work under another Psychologist so I would guess you would make good money assuming you could find a job in that field with just a Bachelors but you would be wiser to get your Masters.
P.S I always wanted to go to school to become a Psychologist but had children at a young age instead, maybe when my kids are grown up?!

A psychologist is not a doctor. You can get a doctorate in psychology. A Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor. With just a bachelors you make almost nothing. Check out www.Salary.com for salaries in your neighborhood.

Psycologist is a doctor...thus need more education than just a bachelors

You can get some jobs as a psychologist with a bachelors.
But usually in that field you need a master's degreee to get to the middle class. Depends on how hard you work and what kind of job.

as far as i know you need to be a licensed PHD to be a psychologist then you can make the big bucks. i was a psych major and now i got nothin to show for it, didnt' wanna do grad school. o well haha.
