Hi folks,
This mobile 'phone boss has just appeared on BBC Breakfast stating that roaming charges etc are justified, and twice said that there is no such thing as a free lunch.
Rubbish. I have had loads of free lunches when buying electical equipment for the company, and put plenty of free lunches on expenses when selling the finished product.
OK those costs are all built in somewhere. I am not an accountant, but to me those are as free as air.
No I tell fibs, I have to bung a twenty pence bit into the local machine to check tyre pressures.
UKmobile 'phone companies are onto a £6billion annual profit, so it is about time that we all had a free lunch out of them.
Have you had a free lunch recently ?

Bob.

I don't know what to do anymore. My wife and I had a contract with Fitworks in Cleveland, but we now live in Columbus. One of the ways you could get out of your contract was if you moved outside of a 25 mile radius from any Fitworks Facility. We have met this criteria. In order to show proof that you have moved my contract states "You agree to provide any two of the following as proof of relocation: A current and valid lease, a bank statement or credit card bill, a utility bill, or a yellow change of address label provided by the post office."
The first docs I sent were a copy of our lease, and a letter from the utility company stating that we had established service. 3 weeks goes by and I get a letter from ASF stating that these are not valid docs because our landlord's signature was not on the lease, and that I sent a letter from the utility company and not a "bill." Well excuse me, but you usually don't see a bill for at least a month after you move! I'll follow up.........
