I have a chance to buy electronic products from Asia but looks like all companies over there work with the following payment methods...
T/T (Telegraphic Transfer)
D/P (Down Payment)

Looks strange to me or may be this is their way of payments...?
Any suggestions...

I am in an accounting class and we are doing adjusting entries.

How would I record "Unearned commission revenue still unearned, $7,750" ?

I debited commission revenue and credited unearned commission revenue.
Apparently that's wrong.

This is for a major project. Someone help me please. : (

We're doing Adjusting Entries in my accounting class.

How would you record "Prepaid rent still in force, $1,050" ?

I debited rent expense and credited prepaid rent. Apparently that's wrong. So what would I DEBIT and CREDIT?

Same question for "Unearned commission revenue still unearned, $7,750"...

I'd really appreciate it if someone helped me on this. It's for a big accounting project. I need to know what I'm doing wrong. : (

I made an expesive purchase on ebay. After placing my bid, I read that the seller will only accept a cashiers check or money order. The ebayer has a good track record 97.8% out of 150 feedbacks. He hasn't responded to my emails about about alternative payment options. Now, I don't want my ebay account suspended, but I'm not going to take the risk by sending the seller the check. I'm prepared to have my ebay account suspended for life...Is there a clearinghouse that the seller and me can use for the exchange, that is, he send the purchase to the clearinghouse and I send the check. If the check clears the clearinghouse sends the purchased item?

I am transferring at the end of the semester and really have no idea where to. Before I moved to Arkansas to attend college I lived in a po-dunk Texas rice field/refinery town not experiencing big city or the woes of crime. I've come to the realization lately after living in the suburbs my entire life, that metropolitan cities are going to have some crime along with its culture, traffic, diverse people, and possibly tourism and/or business. Wondering if anybody has any heads up on any cities that have established some equilibrium between the crime and all the things that make a great city a city.
