A small time retailer looking for supplier who can provides me with chidren clothes preferably from Thailand and Vietnam. Suppliers must be willing to supply small orders.

i don't know anything about thailand, but my first step to doing business in vietnam would be to contact the nearest vietnamese embassy or consulate. they have a section that deals with business development. if they don't return your email, google "provincial government vietnam " and you will get a fairly good list of contacts. you will need someone who can communicate in vietnamese to write your email as most other languages are not understood and won't be answered.
you can try alibab.com and other web sites that are easily googled.
the last step would be to take a trip to vietnam and find suppliers yourself. you could even deduct the cost of your trip as a business expense.

why be part of the problem?, cheap labour, cheap clothes, more consumerism - more pointless products to buy.
