His full name is Mark MyWords. He's sort of the god of marketing, and is prayed to frequently. Here is an example...

Mark MyWords, if I get another call from a telemarketer I'm going to throw the phone through a window.

Marketing refers to the word 'market'. The original way to sell products in previous times was at the Market.
