Ordered a book on ebay and paid for it. the Seller shipped it on Jan. 23rd and according to USPS tracking, it was delivered on Jan. 25th. However, we havent seen it.
There was no missed delivery slip on the door, and my sister was home at that time and date, so she wouldve heard the postman knock.
Ive told the seller that we never recieved it, but Im concerned that she will think we are trying to scam her.
Will the post office provide me details such as if the postman left it on the porch or with a neighbor? Or did I just lose 18 dollars forever?

Eg.
Computers are now very cheap because there are so many suppliers.
But, considering that, for most peoples needs, computers for the last 2/3 years have already provide everything they need and are very reliable....
Will many suppliers pull-out / go bankrupt and prices therefore soar!
Surely products like Vista won't fool the market into spending money to buy products that they don't need?
Or is marketing now so powerful that people are 'told' what to buy. Information please.
