Has nobody considered that you want to send money to a family member ?? How suspicious !
You can send a SWIFT transaction through your bank. You will find an IBAN or BIC number on your bank statements. You can arrange this through your bank and they usually charge about £25 to do it. You will need thier bank details as well to make the transaction. Alternatively you can have a foreign draft drawn up which is just like a bankers draft but for abroad. This usually cost under £10, depending on the amount of the cheque.
This is the way it would work from the UK, so i can only presume this will be the same anywhere else as you can make these transfers anywhere going out of the UK.
