Some banks do not allow you to give discounts if you have your business acount with them. You will pay between 2-6% probably.

If your average ticket is high (hundreds and thousands), I would give a 2-3% discount for cash. However if you have a small average ticket (say $50.00), I would charge the same for both.

For small purchases (like meals), usually $0.50-$1 is sufficient (as in a credit card surcharge). Bigger purchases, figure out how much credit cards cost you -- or how much you dislike them.
For instance USPS has calculated that accepting credit cards actually saves them money (as they have severe protocols so handling/accounting for cash costs them quite a bit).
