The US Postal Service charges postage based primarily on weight for letters. Odd sized letters have an additional charge. If your letter is a standard envelope, it should be 39 cents.
Distance within the US is not a factor.

Are you serious? Do you really believe that the DISTANCE has anything to do w/ the amount of the postage.

Normal letter, mailed w/in the US is 39 cents. Period. Unless it's over an oz.

One 39 cent stamp is enough,the weight does have alot to do with mailing prices.
