I was but I am a bit worried about the scare tactics now used. They will try to cancel your account, this alone can cause numerous hassle shifting your direct debits and where your wages are paid, and if in overdraft may claim this back off you. They also don't always give you the full amount back and may have to go to small claims court to get it.
I'm still in two minds whether to do it, this I imagine is the reaction the banks want, and have all the info to make a claim. I'll put my sources down below:

I am not going to ask for my charges, yes they do charge a stupid amount of money but if i start proceedings and they pay up they are likely to close my account and class me as a difficult customer. I dont think they can but i beleive they are putting the difficult customer thing as footprints on credit reports. I just got to try and not get charged in the first place. Like Cyfran, im not sure i can be bothered with the hassle of losing my overdraft and changing all the direct debits etc.

The monetary company will purely refund the prices regarding consequences and insist letters, yet they are entitled to value the agreed pastime on the overdraft. Later, even as that's all settled, they'll ask you to close your account. So be prepared for that. also note that in this u . s ., banks provide loose modern-day money owed, statements etc. yet even as they are prevented from charging for what they do now, they'll impose annual prices for money owed and better charges of pastime for overdrafts, as they do in different international locations. i'm not certain that this campaign to come again funds from the banks will be to our earnings lengthy time period.

well i have tried and they have only done maybe thirty dollars off of the charges because they charge that much per each day that the drafts are on the account and say you have two overdraft charges you are charge per over draft 30.00 in some cases 45.00per over draft but u could try if it was a mistake on your account or the banks mistake then they will do it but i have tried and they would only give me one overdraft charge back but good luck hope it helps you ???

Many people have used the law to get monies returned to them. See the site listed above.
Dont forget, the law is on your side.
If the bank is nasty, once you have your money, change bank!
