Just want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules -- but it can't really be considered any different from telling someone about the company face-to-face, right?

So there is this business called "Pure air products" and it has the same number as us. At first I didn't know, I just thought people kept mixing up the numbers, so I searched it on google and sure enough. But anyways first a school called for us to make a donation, then someone called about selling business cards, and than the other day a gas station called about one of "Pure air products" trucks leaving the gas station without paying for gas. At first I didn't care, but now it's all the time. I keep telling them that this isn't a business, but they keep calling. When I searched it on Google, I tried to email them, but it wouldn't let me. If I do email them, what do I say. YOU NUMBER STEALER YOU!! :)

It does not have advertisements on it and does not charge to post a listing or purchase through a listing, yet the owners have been offered billions of dollars to sell it. Is that value based on current income that the site generates? Or is it based on the value that it could generate with ads?

I answered a question of this nature the other day. My response was "It means someone has a hole in their pocket". I can not find that question to see if the person got any serious answers. My guess is that they removed it because of the sarcastic and mean answers. Anyway, since I answered that question I have started finding DIMES EVERYWHERE - in the house, in the car, in the store, in parking lots, etc. It is weird. I'm used to finding pennies, BUT dimes. I'll gladly pick them up though! I found a dollar's worth today. At this rate I might need a bigger piggy bank.

Can anyone tell me if this company is serious? http://www.paidsurveyscom.info/free - It's taken me ages to find a company that has no signup costs, 99% of them charge a start up fee. They pay you to participate and complete online surveys which can earn you up to $25 per survey. I don't have much money at the moment thats why i am looking for another income, I've heard about this sort of work but sometimes it seems to good to be true. Anyway I just signed up about 15 minutes ago and I am still trying to work it all out. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think the popularity of yahoo answers, books for dummies, and wikipedia speaks in volumes about the need for more simplified and understandable references of information. How many times have we, at work or in school, read for 3 hours about some jargonish crap some scholar wrote only to have a friend sitting next to us helps us understand in 5 minutes. Authors are either too pretentious in wordiness or too used to their own manner of arcane jargon. There needs to be a science devoted to the study of efficient communication as there is none right now I know of. I'm talking about developing standardized formats of explaination that are proven to be easier to understand for the avg reader/learner. what do you think?

I work for a scaffolding business and have been asked to find information on how they can help me, in going to school. I need information on the type of degree I could obtain that would help me and the company in our field. Currently I am in sales for the company. My other duties are to make sure my orders go out and have the correct amount of material being shipped and the correct material, so I have to know the different types of material, their sizes, weight, and how to evenly perportion them on a flat bed or a freight carrier. Apart from that I have to know how to use the material and set it up. The different companies I sell to are all types of construction, drywall, plaster, stucco companies or anyone that is in need of scaffolding. I also have to be very competitive and know how to bid for jobs and be able to offer the best that we have.

I had a conversation with a guy that was adament that gold was the only thing that has true monitary value. I think that he is wrong. For example: If you are starving and had the choice between food and gold wouldn't food have more value to you? Isn't it true that monitary value is baised on what people are willing to exchange rather then just gold.
I would like to hear what YOU think.
