I work for a scaffolding business and have been asked to find information on how they can help me, in going to school. I need information on the type of degree I could obtain that would help me and the company in our field. Currently I am in sales for the company. My other duties are to make sure my orders go out and have the correct amount of material being shipped and the correct material, so I have to know the different types of material, their sizes, weight, and how to evenly perportion them on a flat bed or a freight carrier. Apart from that I have to know how to use the material and set it up. The different companies I sell to are all types of construction, drywall, plaster, stucco companies or anyone that is in need of scaffolding. I also have to be very competitive and know how to bid for jobs and be able to offer the best that we have.

Sounds like you are in need of a Marketing Degree of some sort. If I were you, I would check with my Human Resources Coordinator. Inquire if they have a tuition reimbursement program or may suggest if they don't that it would be beneficial to start one
