I just read about Wal-Marts decision to end their layaway program on Fox News. For those of you who haven't heard about it yet here is the URL: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,213822,00.html

Personally I am upset that Wal-Mart will no longer offer layaway in the future. I have two questions: 1. Do you currently use layaway? 2. Do you think Wal-Marts decision to end their layaway program will affect their sales?

I am a HR director and although it is not considered the "norm" I like to speak briefly to potential hires before the final hire. I pick names at random. Almost everyone that has came to my office has tried to relate to me on the basis of my race, my sex, or my physical appearance. A huge NO NO! I had a young lady to tell me that she knew that I was going to "hook a sistah up, because black women had to look out for each other" Her resume was beautiful..she blew it. Today, I interviewed a young man brilliant, top of his class, a shoe in. Interview went well. I was actually starting to put his new hire package together when he was sitting there. I told him that I would personally get in contact with him in the next few days. He went off, he told me that because he was white that he did not fit into a quota. He had the job. Why is it that people think affirmative action is "out to get them?" Be honest, look for my responses in details.

I'm working on a project and I need to know what that would be in dollars. The only problem is I think the exchange rate has changed and I can't find what it was in 2002. Any help would be appreciated! Also, if you could provide a link explaining it, that would be great. My professor is strict.

I want to start my own clothing line, but how would I copywrite my fashion label so no one else will steal it? I want to remain independent, too.

I am thinking about a travel stop/plaza, that I want to start from the ground up, from scratch. My idea, my name ,my design. I thik that the area in which I live has been overlooked by many a researcher for this type of buisness. Theres plenty of room to grow here. I am determined to oversee and develop this little piece of Empire to fruition.

I cannot enter any of the message boards of stocks in YAHOO FINANCE. When I press 'Message Board' when watching a stock(http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=yhoo... for example), the same page reloads again.
Is there any known problem on your site?
Thanks!!

Some large hardware stores such as Home Depot boast of carrying as many as 20,000 different products in each store. What motivated the producers of those products—everything from screwdrivers to ladders to water heaters—to make them and offer them for sale? How did producers decide on the best combinations of resources to use? Who made these resources available, and why? Who decides whether these particular hardware products should continue to get produced and offered for sale?
