I haven't used layaway in years... do places still have that??? Wow... I thought sure credit cards would have eliminated the need for layaways years ago. I don't think that the elimination of layaway is going to hinder Walmarts sales at all and might even help to reduce their overhead thus giving us all better pricing.

The stuff I get from there (shampoo, vitamins) is not something that can be put on hold, so yep I'll still shop there until they raise their prices.

yes,its unfortunate thats in the plans, but it seems alot of other stores are doing away with layaway also, but as far as shopping there,yes as long as they dont do away with decent prices.

it was a good business decision by them to do away with it; lay-away is bad for the bottom line
