Typically very high; it's the ethics that's can be the problem.
Then again, for every CEO going to jail this year there are hundreds of others toiling away, making good money and running a good business. We just don't hear about them much unless we read Business Week.

I don't think the IQ of the person makes any difference at all. Very smart people are not CEO of anything, and people who seem to have fairly average IQ's are CEO of companies. If you are asking if you have what it takes to be a CEO, then my suggestion is it has much more to do with your determination, drive, grit, passion, desire, charisma, honesty, leadership, and traits that make a person want to follow you. You have to be able to influence clients, vendors, trading partners, banks, and critics. You have to be able to motivate employees. You need to be able to find reason and work with far less than all the information you would like to make decisions. You have to be able to stay the course, even when things seem hopeless. You also have to be able to be even tempered, whether its a banner month or in the pits.
Nope... IQ has nothing to do with how well a person might do as a CEO.
Good luck.

im not sure but i think you take the total number of group and divide by amount of ceos, since the individual use of iq may be limited due to biz politics and ego.
