depends on where you are located and experience

teenagers should earn at least 2 dollars more than mininum wage per hour for 1 child, then add on an additional dollar for each additional child
older sitters should start at 4 dollars above mininum wage
experienced caregivers (elem school teachers, nannies, etc.) should start at 6 dollars above mininum wage

i.e., Connecticut, sitting for 2 kids
state mininum wage is 7.40
teenager should earn $10.40/hr
older sitter should earn $12.40/hr
experienced caregiver should earn $14.40/hr

$9- $10/hour (here in the South) plus compensation for gas, then you can also charge $4 or $5 more for each additional child. But, I'm sure these rates change depending on where you live.

usually 5-10 an hour I think . Thats the going rate here. Depends on what area you live in .

It depends on how many kids, what tasks r required...I think it should be at least min. wage!
