I have to come up with a better way of sstaying on top of change orders. Right now, I keep them in biinders, but what exactly should I be keeping in there? Presently we have a copy of EVERYTHING. If we have faxed a change more than once we have a copy of every single page for each time we faxed it. Is this necessary?

I work in a construction office, I am in charge of change orders. I am fairly new at this. Even though I have tried to follow up on open change orders, I am getting little result.

What can I write in my follow up fax that will get me results..... These GCs want the subs to expidite the changes, but won't help out by pressing the issue for signed change orders.

Ok, I sold a Creative Zen Multimedia player on the 17 August to thio guy and sent it special registered delivery cos it's worth over £200. The guy then said he didn't get it despite the fact it shows online it was received and signed for. He also bought a PSP player from another ebayer on the same day then contacted him to say the same thing "I didn't get it" . After paying us, he closed his paypal account? His phone number is invalid, he doesn't reply to emails. do you reckon he:
1)Either hijacked someone's paypal account to pay us
2) Used a stolen credit card to pay us in which case we are liable to pay back the credit card company as we don't have seller protection. We sent to an "unconfirmed paypal address" which I wasn't aware of.
3) He is the person who own the credit card but is just trying to get both the goods and the money.
I've reported him to paypal and ebay but I really can't work it out. For example if he wanted back his money.. why close down his paypal account?

hi,
i do give 100% but many employees donot.
i always ask the employyes in friendly manner to do tasks.
i may even say to them : please go get the bathrooms clean or this or that firmly but i tell them iam not being mean, just need it done.
i have been accused by my general manager of being over bearing. its just that when the resturant is a wreck(dirty) i need all hands busy cleaning till next rush.
we all do laugh, talk and have fun too.
iam not a brown noser. ive always worked hard, even when i was a regular employe as a waitress making only $2.25 an hour plus tips.my job is to deligate , so i cant see why my manager would say that i was overbearing.
she and the other main manager stay on the telephone making personal calls alot throughout the day.
weve discussed this in meetings, it changes briefly, then back to talking.
i take my job very serious.
i want to treat customers right and make our store the best.
if there are 3 managers in store, many times iam the only one

It seems like there were some people who were "JEALOUS", and they 'misplaced their logics'.... at least from the story I read.
IN other words the US GOVERNMNET was WRONG to crack down on Gates in that way....once again this is going by the news article which I read back in Y2K or something.

There is a notion of FREE MARKET ENTERPRISE.

I agreed to buy a property from a seller & we both agreed on price, what the price covered i.e. fixtures. furniture, garden items etc and both agreed to proceed on that basis. However when individual solicitors had been instructed the seller had by then altered the inventory of items & the price, and his solicitor saidthat our original agreement was not legally binding despite that agreement being the very basis on which we had both agreed to proceed.... Cant be right , can it?

I've begun buying products from companies that do not test on animals. However a lot of them are SO much more expensive than the products I was used to buying! I can't afford $12 shampoos, $5 tubes of toothpaste and $8 boxes of detergent! Why are products that do not test on animals so much more expensive than the rest? Does anyone have any good suggestions for good brands/companies that do not test on animals, but their products are reasonably priced? Thanks! :)

I am working with an excel spreadsheet. I would like to remove the page numbers (e.g. Page 1) that display in the background. These numbers are gray but transparent and are very nerve wracking. They do not print, but since they they get in the way and it is necessary to squint to see what it behind them, I would like to know the steps to remove them. I tried help but no luck

I've just started babysitting for a couple of weeks, and now some of my moms close friends ask me every once in a while to babysit their kids. So the other night i babysat 7, 9, and 11 year old girls. Now they were cute, but were very annoying and gave me a hard time with just about everything. When the parents got home they paid me $20 for having babysat their 3 girls for 4 hours. I though that $5 per hour was a but low for how much work i did, i even cleaned up their house a bit even though some of the mess was already there when i arrived. I just didn't know how to tell them that i was expecting some more money, so i didn't argue with them. but i really need help at how i should have told them that $20 just wasn't enough. please help
