I am curious to know if each state differs in their minimum wage or is it all the same across the United States. And if it is different. What is the highest and the lowest.

It used to be federal, until this federal person said minimum wage didn't matter any more, so the States were forced to mandate it themselves. (Federal person being George Bush and his cronies)
