Are you 18? If so then you have or soon will be sent a billion credit card offers. If you have no credit then you should have no problem getting a regular credit card. Keep in mind it will come with an astronomical APR ... probably like 21% or higher. Once you have the card -- and I suggest only getting ONE -- put small purchases on it and pay it off in full every month for 6 months. At 6 months call your credit card company and tell them that you have paid your balance in full every month for 6 months and you feel you deserve a lower APR. About 99% of the time they will lower the APR by a fairly good percentage. Do that about every 6 months or so and you will build very good credit and have a credit card with a very low APR by the time you are 21.

Firstly, do you really need a credit card, think it over very carefully, Secondly, banks and financial institutions usually only give credit cards to people who earn at least $15,000 per year, and Thirdly, try saving each week, even a small amount, it adds up quickly and shows the bank that you are committed and stable, hope that helps, as I've been there too!

This is how...
1. Build your CREDIT HISTORY first, by opening a bank acount and using that money to pay off your bills and using it as a debit.
2. Pay your bills ON TIME.
Do this two steps, and I guarantee you credit card companies will send your all their cards like you are a billionair.
Start with Step 1.
