I filled out an application online for Vector Marketing. Few hours later I got a call and they scheduled me an interview for the next day. It was a little strange that they would schedule me an appoitment right away. So I did some research thanks to YA and found some unpleasant things. Has anyone worked for them? I don't want to go to that interview and waste my time because I don't want that job. Help please. What should I do? Should I go and pretend as if I'm interested or not to go?

I'm going to the flea market on Thursday. I always make good money, but I think its just because I had good stuff to sell, not because I'm a great salesman. How can I become a great flea market salesman?

junk! "Work from home!","Be your own boss!","Training provided!","No experience or education needed!""Make 10k each month from home!" If it was that easy, why doesn't everyone do it? No education or experience needed and you still make 10K/month. Who can pass that up? Maybe someone with an education that might know that the real world does not hand you a 6 figure income with no experience or education. Poor suckers. All I am getting at is, why does Yahoo or Hot Jobs put more filters in place to keep the crap out? Who is benefiting from this?

I recently graduated with a Business Management Degree. I went to work for UPS as a supervisor after graduation seven months later I accepted a position with a smaller company as a management trainee for their sales department. My sales scores on their personalysis test were the highest they had ever seen. I scored a 28. While finishing their program I enrolled in a MBA program which I am now 8 months from completing. Now after completing the program they have no sales openings and want me to take a service supervisor position for 40% less than the equivalent sales position I am qualified for. I have been paying for my own MBA and have always enjoyed Marketing and economics courses the most. Needless to say as a sales guy I am not looking forward to this opportunity what would you do in this situation. PS: GPA in the MBA program is a 3.85

I just got offered a sales rep job from Vector Marketing and I have an interview coming up. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about getting a job with this company because there seems to be some skepticism on some websites I found, and I would hate to be another college student getting sucked into a scam.

There are 3 sales girls available. All 3 are well dressed. You don't have any other details to go on (such as how long they have been employeed there, ect) One sales girl is in her early 20's, one is in her early 30's and the other is in her early 40's. Would it even make a difference to you? Why?

Hi, I don't expect to get a huge amount of sympathy on this but here goes...

I am a salesman. I used to have a commission structure of 10% on the Year 1 revenue of a deal. They now want to reduce this to 5% and then have team targets.

Can they do this? They say it is non-negotiable but is this true? Do I have to accept these new terms? I have been working on one deal for the last 9 months and now I'll only get half the commission that I would have got?

Thanks in advance for any help.
