It expires the end of month and I was wondering if any nurses had an abundance of them that they would give me since the board only needs 30.

I have my associates degree in health administration. I am still working for my bachelors, but need to work full time while I earn it. I am a CNA and have been working in home health with the disabled for the last 3 years. I would like to work using my associates degree rather than my CNA now. I am moving to Abilene Texas in a couple of weeks if that helps. I could use help knowing what to put in search engines to have other positions besides CNA jobs come up. I'm not sure what the associates degree qualifies me for until I earn my bachelors. Any ideas?

I am thinking about switching my major to Radiologic Technology. I was just wondering, if I just go through with my associates and not a bachelors, would I still be able to work in that field? I mean, I have to take almost 80 credits to get the associates so I would think I would be pretty well trained. And also, what could I expect for salary?

I'm looking to pursue a career in Nursing. I was in college but classes became costly and decided to take some time off. I'm trying to get into the medical field so I can take advantage of the tution reimbursement but its next to impossible to find a job if you dont have some sort of experience in the medical field. Any suggestions?

I have about 1 1/2 years (going part time in a counseling psychology program) but I would also have to do a one year internship simultaneously. Trouble is you have to be under supervision another 2 years after that to get a license. I heard that in Maryland you don't need a license. No way I'm going to spend all that time since I already have a job I like. But if I could avoid the supervision part, I'd go for it. Could I still get a job without a "license?"

I REALLY like the though of being a paramedic EXCEPT for my dream of international aid. I love everything about a paramedic career except mobility. I'm ONLY really considering nursing or being a doctor because they help but are ALSO able to volunteer their skills to people in need overseas. As an immigrant I know how spoiled we are here in Canada compared to the rest of the world. I would love to be able to help people (physically with personal skills) to give them a second chance at life in underpriviliged countries. Both doctors and nurses are able to volunteer their skills, but are Paramedics? I haven't been able to find any info on it. I mean programs like -doctors without borders- , not ones where you pay to help(Paramedic careers don't make you rich ;P ). The only way I know of is to join the military...but I don't want to join the military just for the slight chance of being able to us my paramedic skills in foreign aid. help....

I am a massage therapist working for low pay but with great co-workers/atmosphere . The drive is far and I am struggling to pay off my current tuition. I am being offered a job that pays about $3-5 more but without tips (though my tips are low anyways) This job would require that I work over double the hours (causing me to not be able to attend as much school, which means I would graduate later) and I would work doing very hard massages with only 3 minutes in between each massage to rest. Then again my other job I only get about 7 minutes inbetween, sometimes much less. This new job offer is about 5 minutes away from my house. Personally I don't really want to work doing massage for companies but being a girl and not wanting to travel to strangers houses or have them at mine, I can't work from home. I want to get a job doing make-up (I'm an esthetic student) but it's hard to do, even getting a job at a cosmetics counter is hard without sales experience. All I have is massage. Whattodo?

I recently got a job at a hospital a nurse extern but the problem is they wont let me do anything..and it is fustrating of course they let me do all the nurse aide stuff ex bathing and wiping *** but I do not get to do anything else I finally asked one of the nurses could I insert the foley or NG tube and she said NO and speaking with other nurse externs that are graduating next year they weren't allowed to do anything either. Is that the norm? I did not even get orientated with a nurse I had orientation for two weeks with a nurse aide.
