My daughter sent the camera by first class Royal Mail. To-date no money received. The buyer states, he cannot release funds because customs in Nigeria need £80 to release it. Any advice please, thank you?

Being that I'm married, my wife and I file jointly, and I usually get about 2,200 somewhere in that range. Last year I took out 3,000 and it didn't effect it that much. I think it was a couple of hundred dollars, any ideas?

I friend of mine emailed me and said that a friend of her's was telling horror stories about debt collectors.

She saild that a debt collector could call the a judge and have a warrant for your arrest issued. I told her that's what I'd call a "Suburban Legend". It was a myth.

But my friends email got me thinking about the many debt collection myth's that may be out there. Have you heard any?

I'll soon be moving to London for a new job, i'm currently on the look out for somewhere to stay, ideally a single non sharing flat. Any recomendations? Nothing too special, somewhere that's warm, safe and with easy access to the center.

I am a renter in a 3 family house. I have 3 roomates. In the other sections there is a woman with 2 kids, and a married couple. We all share a driveway that is on a hill. So far it's been a bad winter here in boston. We had a ton of snow last thursday, then again on sunday. Both times were a nightmare for me to get in the driveway. There are about 6 cars in this driveway. The landlord sent over a plow which helped a bit, but that's all he did. I didnt use my car for 4 days. Today i went to move it and was really mad to find that i couldnt. It was pretty much stuck in the ice and snow, the tires were going round and round. My roomates car wouldnt move either. Am i wrong to think the landlord should be doing more? Like putting down salt, sand or something? I also fell on the ice this morning and cut my hand (in the driveway)

Has a new manager...over zealous little thing. Anyway, she wouldn't allow me to deposit my GOVERNMENT ISSUED PAYROLL check without a 3 day hold on it. I used to work at a bank and I never heard of such thing. She also wouldn't let me cash it and deposit right after.

Is this normal?

My Direct Deposit has not started yet. Now I have to PRAY nothing bounced and I have to go back to the bank AGAIN TODAY. Waste of time, money and energy.

They say that more and more Americans are working a second or third job to make more money and in some cases just to make ends meat. I know one man who works four jobs totally 100 hours a week because he is so much in debt (he has thousands in unpaid medical bills and is to proud to declare bankruptcy).

Do you work a second job and if so what do you do in your second job?

In my opinion, part of the blame lies with the consumers; but I put a majority of the blame of the mortgage companies for taking advantage of the consumers. I will take all opinions: Good or Bad.

I apologize for how rude and brash the question is, but there's really no other way to ask.

My boyfriend and I are looking into possibly renting a home from a older man (in his 70's or 80's, I can't remember). I'm just curious, because I'm completely new to all of this, what would happen to us as far as financial responsibility if he were to pass on while we were renting the home.
Would we be stuck with the remaining mortgage payments if the house is not paid off?
If the house is paid off, we would legally (through our lease) have rights to remain in the house? Or would ownership be left to his next of kin?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!

I have called my senators 100's of times over the past 5 demanding that these adjustable rate mortgages be outlawed and they haven't done anything. In addition, I want 100% loan to value ratio loans outlawed. We can thank the states of California, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio for the current over-hyped foreclosure situation.

Stupid headlines like Foreclosures up 68% are misleading as hell. Less than 1% of all the home loans nationwide are even in foreclosure.

The U.S. had one foreclosure filing for every 617 households in November, RealtyTrac said. That is meaningless. During the attack on the United States oil industry between 1984 and 1992 one in five homes were posted for foreclosure in Texas and no one cared. Banks didn't do anything to help.

I could care less how much homes have declined in California or anywhere else for that matter. Home values go up and down all the time. Rent homes and people who do not maintain they yards affect values more than foreclosures

Is there a position where you can work with all departments and also be creative or work with audio/video/lighting?
and... I already assume that the CEO and VP make a chunk of change, but what departments/position make the most?
