What are you claiming for federal & state deductions?

Addition: Sorry, I missed the "after taxes" part. If 37,500 is your net annual salary, then just divide by 26.

37,500 /26 = 1442 pre-tax

depending on the state you live in and deductions for health care/benefits ect and how many dependents you are claiming I'm guessing you would take home anywhere from

1442 x 0.75 = 1081
1442 x 0.70 = 1009

About a thousand bucks, but will depend on what you claim for federal income tax and what your state income tax is. Some states have high income tax and others have none at all.
