Am I wrong to be so irritated that the teller looks at my checks, and then real friendly-like asks all about them? "Do you have a business?" Uhm, sure. So What do you do? Today I ignored her and she insistently asked, SO WHAT DO YOU DO? I felt obligated to answer rather than seem rude, but it's irked me all day. Is it any of their business or should they just handle your transaction professionally? Not like the amounts were anything big at all, just all the same. I'm sure she can read the "memo" notes on them, but can't they just do their job and respect your privacy? Are they trying to sell me a different account? Do "business" accounts make them more money? Can I just tell them it's none of their business???
I feel it is like the housecleaner who cleans your kitchen but keeps asking you personal questions regarding items she picks up, your love life, etc.! (That's happened, too.)
