I tried to stop the forecloser and got ripped off by agents advertizing to help stop foreclosers. And before I new I could not stop the forecloser due to the lawyer fees. The bidder who got the place says he buys them to help people to stay in their homes. But he was a rip off too, cause you should have heard his deal. Now me and my 2 daughters lost our home. And my husband too.

My mother has alzheimers Disease and was diagnosed after she was mislead into buy a home. It turns out an dishonest broker used unethical ways to have the loan approved.

And Later, My mother and I found out about the high interest rate and also the second mortgage. All together the mortgage is $3,400 for a $417,000 house and in addition, The first mortgage is an ARM of 9.4%.. Does anyone have any valid ideas of how to survive and still keep the home. Open to ideas that would be beneficial to the person who could help.

I took my children to this play place and they advertise that they only charge $17 for 4 hours of play and they always pro-rate by hour. So..when I went to the cashier, I wanted them to play for two hours (that means $4.25 per hour/person..that would only cost me $17 in total)...but then she (cashier) told me that the owner decided to charge full price and if I pick them up after 2 hours, I get my money back. I reluctantly agreed and paid her $34. Then...the two hours later (it was 9:33pm), I went to the same cashier and told her that I am picking the kids up and I want my refund for those 2 hours that I didn't use. She proceeded to tell me that she couldn't give me refund because it was after 9:30!!! There was no written or verbal chage in this "refund policy". We used this place last night and there was no such policy and tonight they do!

I am furious! Are they allowed to change the refund policy as they pleases without notifying their customers

So I just checked myFico Equifax score, and I wasn't surprised to see a score of 608.

So I then started playing around with myFico score stimulator... and it says "If You Pay Down $203.00 of Your Credit Card Balances within 1 month, Your simulated FICO score would be in the following range: 668 - 708".

That's 60 to 100 points!!!! jump for paying off a $200 balance?

Do you guys agree with this stimulator, and it's accuracy? can I quote myFico if this doesn't happen?

Thank you for your time! :)

I live in a college town and attend University of Maryland. I just moved into a new building. Within a few weeks of moving in, we got a notice saying that if we received a noise violation we would be fined $75 per violation. (This was never stated in the lease).
About a month later, we recieved a notice saying that there was some damage done to the building because of parties (someone punched holes in the drywall in the hallway), and that no one was allowed to have parties anymore. If someone was found to be having a party, they would be fined $500 for the first offense, and evicted afterwards.
None of these "fines" or terms were ever in the lease we signed, and it seems like they are making up whatever stuff they feel like as they go along.
My real estate background tells me that they are not allowed to do this and any "changes" like this to a lease we would have to sign off on.
I complained to management but they didn't care. What can I do??

My husband just started a new job last week and there is no waiting period for insurance. He has to fill out the forms online. My question is, how soon after he fills out the forms can I go to the doctor? I need a physical for my job and stuff like a TB test, vaccinations, etc. I only have a week to get the physical and stuff, but I'm worried our insurance won't kick in intime. How long after the application pappers are emailed is the insurance active? Will I have to wait for the insurance card to come in the mail? That takes forever, is it possible for the doctor's office to just call out insurance company and ask if we are covered?

People get rich in different ways, some work hard for 40 years and save, while others write a hit song or book and become a best selling author over night. I want to get rich easy not hard.

We started this job 3 weeks ago, we are temps. I am stuck in a room w/ a girl who is 7 yrs. younger than me. I am trying to conduct business but she always has to blurt out by singing, whisteling, laughing, passing gas, making weird throat noises, calling her friends on the phone. She is driving me crazy but it is a good job & I don't want to complain to the boss. I don't want any friction between the 2 of us. She just is not fit for the job mentally, but can do the work. How would you handle her weirdness? Oh, & she also is always dancing in her chair, making goofy arm movements. We work for the LAW somewhat. We are in our own room so no-one can see us unless the boss comes in but the girls outside of our office can hear her. I have not mentioned anything to them.

My husband and I both have good credit, on the border line of being excellent and we don't want to do anything that will hurt our credit score.
Together we have 6 credit cards with approximately $7000 in debt a mortgage payment and two car payments. I have transferred the balance of one of the cards several times ($4000) and do not want to do it again, the interest and accrued finance charges will hit in January and there is no way I will be able to pay it off by then, so I need to find a way to consolidate or something before then. One of my biggest problem is that I'm a SHOPPER and I can't resist a bargin, I put all my extra money towards payments and then have no money to spend so I use a credit card. What kind of solutions can you offer (other than quit shopping, that one I'm well aware of and I have removed all credit cards from my purse), do local banks offer consolidation loans with low interest? Please Help!!

Anyway, I turned 18 recently, and I canceled my verizon account in my dads name, and switched to ATT to get an iPhone. My verizon cancelation fee is due today, but right now I dont' have the funds (I recently racked up a few overdraft fees from the bank, so I am kind of stressed out with money). I should have enough money by friday, which would make the payment about 5 days late.

I am worried because this account is tied to my parents credit. But I dont' want them to know I am having financial problems, as I am very independent and they seem to make too much of things.

But based on what I have read here, it can take anywhere from 30-90 days late for it to effect your rating, and even then it doesn't hurt it until you are sent to collections.

So should I be fine having a payment that is a few days to a week late?

I know I have 30 days to add baby, but after he/she is born will he/she be covered? Is it possible that I can start the coverage before the baby is born? and if so how will I go about it. I know I need to call them, I get home so late they are always closed, so eventually I will get a live person.

Someone was telling me about KidCare also, I don't qualify for any state aid so what is the procedure for applying? Is my income taken into consideration? and how soon after birth will it start?
