I the website amazon real because I never ordered anything from them or ebay and I don't want to get scammed cause I know someone who this happened to .

amazon is most definatly real and legit. I order from them all the time. Check the sellers comments, and if you can buy from the site Amazon not the buyers.

Amazon is real and I am a satisfied customer there. Of course they have affiliate sellers who put their stuff for sale through amazon. These last folks could be honest or not. Generally they are and you can verify this by checking their "ratings". Basically, all the people who purchased from them leave their honest feedback which, of course, is available for you to read. So, thanks to this feedback, I am usually pretty confident about who is an honest affiliate seller of amazon and who is not. However, I once had a bad experience with one of Half.com book sellers even though his ratings were positive for maybe 95% or so. So the ratings are a good indication but it is not a certainty that everything will go smoothly. Good luck!

I order from Amazon all the time, it's where I found the best price for my landscaping lights. I also found my pie-crust antique tables from them.
And eBay is great, I found an antique china cabinet from them, and it turned out to be from a very nice lady in Texas, who was less than 25 miles from my house. I've had it appraised and I came out on the best end of the deal. For $150, I have a china cabinet that is valued at a little more than $7,000, the appraiser called me back a few days after that to see if I wanted to sell it, because she had a client who was interested in it. It is still in my computer room full of hand painted porcelains.
So both places are safe.

yeah i love amazon and it actually works. It is like an online mall. I have purchased from amazon before and it was really good and good quality

The website is real ( we use it all the time)
BUT!!!! There are many scams that have resulted from it.
If you recieve any E-mail asking you to log in dont do it, The site they will take you to looks official but isn't, and when you log in the scammers will have your credit card numbers.
But yes, the real site is www.amazon.com and its fine!
