My aunt was my family's accountant for 15 years and we found our recently she has a gambling addiction the caused her to steal dollars from our family over the years. What would you do if you found out there wasn't enough evidence to take her to court and she never admitted to it and was OBVIOUSLY her. Take into account that my parents are now close to retiring and have 500,000 saved for retirement.

They have upped my finance charges to where I can never pay it off anyway. My minimum payment (which I now cannot afford) would only serve to pay for now huge finance charges every month. What is going to happen if I don't pay it off. I'm a college student and I own nada. I called and they won't lower it. I can't afford it and have no incentive to even attempt to pay it off since it will never end since they've increased everything. So if I just stop paying it, what can they do?

Obviously, I know I can't use the card anymore, but what else can they do?

I live in Maryland. I have 3 jobs.

One job is in Maryland but I only work there about 8 hours a week waiting tables.

My other two jobs are in Pennsylvania and I get a total of a little over 40 between the two of them.

What will the consequences of this be when I am filing my taxes here in a few months? Are there anyway to avoid this?

My next question is, would it be better to change my residency or is it too late in the year?
