Ok, my husband, myself, and our 2 kids have been living in our apartment for 5 years.

About 3 years ago, my husband lost his job, and we were unable to pay rent for a few months. Sometimes we were able to pay a little, sometimes we weren't able to pay at all. My landlord was nice and willing to give us some time to get back on our feet. At one point, we owed over 3000 in back rent. And we were never at threat of eviciton, because our landlord was trying to work with us.

Finally after a few months my husband was able to find another job paying a bit more, and I got a job as well. All is fine until last week.

I got an eviction notice the other day because we are 9 days late on our rent. (we were going to pay it next week). We always pay (at minimum) our rent, plus some, so that we can pay off the remaining balance. The court papers showed that we owe 3900.00.

Yesterday my landlord sat down with me and we went through all the payments and came to a conclusion that we

First off we started renting a house from the real estate agency. We have a lease aggreement through end of March of next year. We have paied our share of the rent on time every month. But a couple of days ago we got a letter in the mail from a bank, that wasnt addressed to the owners of the house. It just said regarding occupant. So we thought it was junk mail from a bank trying to get us to join with them. And we opened to find out the owner never told us or the real estate agency that we are renting from, that his house is being forclosed on for not paying the mortgage. See the bank still thinks they live here, and that whoever is living in the home has to be out by Nov 1st. We contacted the real estate agency told them. They said that they would talk to the owner about it. It said after Nov.1st the house will go to HUD until it gets fixed up to sell. Since we have a lease and are renting the house, will they really take the house or can we stay alittle longer, can we buy the house?

Last year my husband and I brought in about 45 thousand and we had a baby so we ended up getting 2800. Now that I've been staying home , we would only declare my husbands income which lets say is going to be 30 thousand. I know we will get more cuz I haven't been working , but is my husband going to declare me and the baby as 2 deductions or just the baby as one? How much can you predict that we'll get if i can also be conssidered a deduction. We also own our home.

These are well-circulated bills that a family member brought home to the US after a trip to Europe about 30-yrs ago. I asked if they had value at the currency exchange at our airport. I had to wake up the clerk and she wasn't helpful ("we only exchange Euros and yen..."). What can I do with them?

I am looking to purchase a foreclosue in Michigan for about 95,000 I am getting a really good deal on it however the market for less than perfect credit has went down in my area. How can I purchase this home through a hard/private money lender or sub subprime broker so that I can then get my credit score up in 6months to a year and refinance? I need brokers that serve in Michigan and I am a highly motivated also brokers that offer interest only or fully amortized would be very very good for me as well. Thanks so much

Here's the scenerio: Right now I rent with a small dog. The city I live in has no rent control and I just received a $500 rental increase. This makes my rent more than 60% of my monthly salary. I have a good job, it pays well and I am in the 2nd tax bracket (Canadian). Although I make good money, I cant buy a condo of any kind as they are well over $250 000 to start.

If I find another rental, I am subject to more rental increases, money down the drain and its difficult to find a place that accepts dogs. (my dog comes with me no matter what)

If I buy a mobile home that is attached to a site in a park, my mortgage and land rental combined would equal roughly the same as getting a new rental apartment. I am paying a mortgage, therefore the home is mine. I will never get a massive rental increase and my dog can live with me.

The downsides are: I can easily get a roomy with a rental but not a mobile. Mobiles parks are sketchy, and expensive to heat and what about resale?

Increase my credit line?
I only have 2 credit cards and one of them is capital one which has a $300 limit however now they sent me a letter stating I can increase my limit to $500.

Either way, I am only using less than 30% and I am paying it in full every month. So my question is which is better for my credit? Do I keep it at $300 or let them increase it?

Also what about if they keep increasing it, what should I do? I just want to do what is best for my credit. Thanks.

I understand Target and Walmart offer instant credit approval. But I was wondering if I submit a credit application online, upon approval can I go to Target and/or Walmart same day to use the credit and make a purchase.
