My husband and I got ourself in debit. First off we put off paying our mortgage for a few months. And finally got a letter saying that we were put in to forclosuer. We took a title loan out on our only vehicle and went to the bank to pay off. However the bank said it was to late. And said we needed to contact the lawyers office to make the payment. So we contacted them as well as another company that helps forclosuer that would loan us the full ammount of money needed to pay the lawyers and bring us current and regular with our Bank-Another loan. SO now we have to pay our regular house payment of 800.00 our title loan payment of 800.00 and our 2nd mortgage of 400.00 This will be for the next two years and will leave us pretty much broke each and every month. I want to refinance and pay everything off and just work with 1 payment, my husband doesn't. One reason is credit. HELP! I need all the advice about this situation as I can get

Stay or Go?
I've been working PT in a retail clothing store since February. I've been calling in for someone else to cover my shift last month. Like 2- 3 X's. My boss hasn't been scheduling me. I called her up and ask for some hours. She mention saying I kept calling for pepole to cover my shift that's why she hasn't been scheduling me. I told her next time she schedule I'll show up. I am working FT temporary right now and am going to college and just got an interview for a PT Receptionist job at a dealership. Pays much better, and has a set schedule for evening work. Should I give my two week notice or just stay?

I want to apply to B & N for a job. I don't know if they're hiring since it's the middle of the summer, but I'm going to go see tomorrow. I'm 17, and I've never had a job, so I'm kind of unsure as to how it works. Once I pick up an application and fill it out, then what? Do I just fill it out there and hand it right back to them? Do I need to give them a resume and what needs to be on it, will they schedule an interview, what should I wear, what will they ask, if I get a job do I get to discuss hours with them, etc, etc. Thanks!

I am taking out a loan to considate my credit cards. Is it better to pay off those with a higher interest rate first? If so, where does the money go first, to the higher or lowest rates. (for example, if I only pay a portion of a bill). How will this affect my monthly amount due? I'm thinking of paying off the ones with the highest payment (for example, my car loan payment is $250/mo., I owe $1800 on it.). Paying this off completely now would get rid of a big chunk of the outgoing money. I'm just confused!

I am going to be starting my first job in a month as a teacher getting paid about 30000, and my husband is in the military getting paid about 35000!
So, together we only make about 65000-70000 a year.
Im 21 and hes 24.
Anyways.....I DO NOT want to be a teacher my entire life....I actually want to be a school counselor or teach at a community college...which then I will get paid about 50000, but I NEED expirience first!
So, is this a really CRAPPY SALARY?

Travel expense question?
I work for a company located at location A. One of the customers we have is located at location B. I was assigned to go to location B for service work, 2 days per week. The contract is for one year. My company is telling me that Location B has become my home base. Which means that I will not get paid for travel to location B.?
We have other customers at locations C, D and E. I go to these locations as needed during the remaining 3 days in the week.
My question is:
How should the company reimburse me for travel expenses to locations C, D and E.? Locations C, D and E are closer to A (company's location), than my home

I hired masory contractor to do masonry work. Written contract for 4k, paid 4k, signed by both parties. Masonry guy asks contractor to do carpentry work & extend roof line for $900 verbal contract w/ contractor. Mind you, he used my materials. Contractor tells masonry contractor upon doing work to make sure he seals roof line because of rain that night. Masonry guy leaves roof decking open by 5inches and it floods interior of home. Myself and General Contractor told him of his mistake and showed him how much damage occured. All cielings/Walls in living, master room and den had water damage and had to be gutted out as well as insulation and replaced. This cost was well over $2000 including labor/materials. Masonry guy now has hired legal aid and was demanding 7k. Showed legal my paid contract of 4k. Legal aid now says I owe 3k and is threating to file mechanical lien. Verbal agreement was $900, but he has fabricated this price & says he bought materials. Can he get away with this?
