your not entitled to anything except what you were promised, if they told you that you would get benifits then you are entitled to them, if all they promised you was your hourly pay with no guarenteed raises, then thats all you are entitled to, if you change you mind and decide that the compensation is no longer good enough then leave the compnay and find a better job.

You are entitled only to what the company offers. There are no legal requirements that any firm offer ANY benefits to an employee.

If you are in the US, benefits are not mandated by law but are determined by the employer. If you aren't getting benefits, and aren't getting paid more than average for the work you are performing, then why would you stay?
