You're wasting your time at your current job. Once you've given the impression that you don't want to work and your hours are being reduced, you can pretty much count on it not getting better. That's just the way retail is. If you have an opportunity to take a job with set hours, assuming you're offered the job and those hours fit into your schedule, then you should take that job. However, if you're going to switch jobs just to start not showing up, then you'd be wasting both your time and the new employer's. If you get the offer, take the new job, show up, and work hard. You may need to use the new employer as a reference some day, and you want to make sure they'll give a good reference. But don't give your notice until you've got the job, unless you can afford to be unemployed indefinitely. In the mean time, talk to your current boss about your schedule. Express your desire to work, and let her know exactly what hours you can and can not work, and hope she'll actually schedule you accordingly.

Do you like your current job? That's going to be a big factor here. Also, what happens if you quit and you don't get this other job you interviewed for?
You've got some choices:
1) Wait and see what happens and then prove yourself to be a good worker.
2) Keep looking for a job (after all you're only temporary here) and once you find one, put in your two weeks.
3) Put your two weeks in now, take a chance on being jobless, and continue looking for work you'll enjoy.

Stay. Until you get a job offer elsewhere.
When your current boss schedules you, keep that committment. Sounds like she's power tripping. They do that sometimes.

Give your notice and take the other job. It sounds like you're effectively no longer working at the first place anyway.
