Dana is the main supplier for automotive companies, auto sales are down, they will end up laying off and probably have a huge buildup of inventory.

It's a penny stock for a near dead company. These things have no real value to serious investors. They attract speculators who hope hat some little bit of shareholder equity might survive. It's the nature of these stocks to bounce around wildly because a few cents change is a huge percent change. They also attract "pump and dump" price manipulators who come and go.

Maybe a bunch of big speculators finally gave up and threw in the towel. If you are not aware, the stock is virtually worthless if not in fact worthless.
