I married when I was 18(stupid) and we divorced about 2 years ago . We did not put in the divorce that my name was to come off of the house for some reason that I don't remember now. I tried to get him to refinance the house in his name and won't do anything to get my name off of there, all we did was I signed a quit claim deed. Now, I am looking to buy my own house. Would that cause a problem with being on the other house still? What steps can I take to get off of the other house?

Im not wanting bar work as ive done that for the last few years bit bored with it now, the reason its got to be weekends only is that my kids go to their dads on a weekend, so it makes it easier therefore i dont have to mess about with childcare. ok well i was selling a game system and this guy ask how much. i told him you give me a price, so he said 200. i was cool with it, so i asked him to give me his address on where to send the item. I get back an address from NIGERIA, and i start thinking about alot of scams that come from there. The address he gave me was from the city that it somes most often. Hes from Maine but hes buying it for his friend in nigeria where i have to send the game to. but what has got me thinking is when he sent an email saying he will send me the 200$ along with 3000$ so i can send the system to his friend and i get to keep the rest of the change. Im not stupid and i know somethings up. who can i talk to about this to see if its a scam or not. also he sent me the tracking number of what he sent but i cant seem to find it on UPS. so yea

I put an offer in on a house over three months ago that was approved for short sale and, from what I'm told is about to go into foreclosure. It has been over three months and I am still waiting for the sellers bank to approve the offer. Three months seems excessive to me to wait and not even have a purchase agreeent yet. Is this normal? I'm concerned there is something shady going on with the selling agent for this to be taking so long. Do I have any rights or am I just stuck waiting it out?

1) Cutting/lowering Payroll is on the top three of priorities,
2) Forcing people to wait one year before qualifying for health and dental insurance,
3) Having to wait 7 years before becoming 100% vested otherswise they have to share profits,
4) Understaffing; undermployment such as part-time instead of full time and underpay,
5) Hiring Part-Timers instead of Full-Timers to maximize pay roll.
6) Buying cheap tools and software and enjoying easy tax write-offs,
7) The less people that retire the more money they keep
8) always legally reformulating accounting practices,
9) started a "club' within a "club." it means that every department has to pay rent and their tools. the managers do not pay for their office space and their supplies.
10) really stupid regulations such as the door greeter not allowed moving off a pad.

~~~ My boss,,grrrr. We ask him questions, for example we need to go through our boss to get supplies, he has to OK our supply order, or if there is information we need to know, we have to get the final confirmed information from our boss. We email him, ask him in person,,,its always I'll get to that,,,,sometimes weeks go by with out an answer,,, so when I do go over his head and ask "his" boss about certain issues,,,my boss goes crazy and starts ranting and raving "there she goes! going over my head!!!!!!!" and when I say,,but in order for me to do my job correctly,,I need these issues addressed asap,,,,,(most of these issues are a quick yes or no answer, no research needed,,,,just yes or no answer )
This boss of mine is usually on the internet or on his cell phone talking to his wife,,,,,,never really "there" for his imediate employees,,,,I cant go to personell because my boss and head of personel are "drinking buddies" there is no confidentiality if I talk to personel.......

My manager is my boyfriend's sister. To make a long story short, after a small argument with her, I decided to put in my two weeks yesterday because when situations occur in the store, it's hard for me to take criticism from her when I have a certain more personal relationship with her.

She was seriously offended and said it was like a slap in the face. She told me that today would be my last day to avoid "tension" in the store.

Well, I wanted to stay the two weeks for the money while I find a new job. If she's letting me go, should I still get paid out for the next 2 weeks because I wanted to stay and finish them out, but it was HER decision to let me go?

We have objected to the house next door being sold with planning permission to build another house in the garden.The property has been inherited.The son hasn't lived here for over 20yr's but just wants to make as much money as possible. We have a small neighborhood bar and only 1 employee does not smoke...out of the rest, 1 goes out 2X per shift, totally acceptable, 1 goes out about 5 or 6 times per shift, unacceptable, especially when bar is unattended , the other 2 go out every half hour, or they are in the washroom (smoking?) and leave the bar unattended even with up to 30 customers in it. Our labor dept cannot give us any answers and since this is a one person operation, we are at our wit's end...no help, and the labor market is in VERY short supply in our area...virtually no employees to choice from...Help!!

..they now say the contractors are going to give the town a certain escrow dollar amount for repairs;without this,we don't close.And he hinted if we don't get the loan,nothing he can do.

Today, I've received a student loan check from Bank of America for $20,000 and my mom is listed on the check as a co-payee because she is my cosigned signer. Can she sign the check at home so that I can just go and deposit it into my account, or does she have to make a personal appearance at my bank and sign it there?

In the last week there has been volatility in the stock markets with people saying that bond yields are to blame.

If I'm not mistaken, yields go up when prices go down because the coupon is bigger in comparison to the price.

Also if I'm not mistaken, prices go down when people are selling things.

So if the price is going down because bonds are being sold, why isn't this good for the market because then this money would flow into the stock market boosting prices?

My 2-family home is valued at 375K. I have 12 years and 88K on it left. My current loan is at a 4.9 interest rate. I need to borrow 220K and need it in lump sum. With todays rates being around 6.5 for a 30 year, I know refinancing is out of the question. Which would be better for me, a HEL or a HELOC? What would my payments be for 30 years, 15 years? Thanks
