I'm divorced and have two children. By decree I can deduct one and my ex can deduct one. I'm disabled and on SS disability and that is not taxable so I really don't even need to file. What would be the benefit to my ex be if I were to assign that deduction to them. There is a simple IRS form for that purpose and I figure why give the Gov't the $$...?

I was wondering if my fiance who is running his own construction business(without a dba) can collect sales tax? His brother said he needs a tax id number, but my mom never did she just had a dba, so i was wondering i fhe needs one or not inorder to collect something that we have to pay?

I just need a small personal loan of 3000dollars. He was caught falisfying information and I am kinda surprised that he did not get fired. Ever since then, he has had a chip on his shoulder convinced that everything is not fair and that everybody is against him because he is black and gay. He makes snide remarks at everybody, particulary me, and never stops pouting. I am on the verge of blowing up at him, but I do not want to risk my job. How can I handle this?

I am purchasing a house from my mother-in-law that I know is in good condition. I know that she isn't going to rip me off; she is actually giving me and my new husband a great deal. We are in the process of getting a loan through a well known bank. The bank told me I would need a closing agent or title agent. What exactly would a closing agent or title agent do? I want to sell some items on Ebay. I have no problem charging it because we have Paypal. My only concern is shipping rates. I read their tips on shipping charges but they all sound Greek to me.
