The boilerplate "Here's our offer -- contingent on a satisfactory home inspection" seems a little odd when even our own thoroughly amateur inspection reveals problems.

Given the location, general structure, location, fairly reasonable price, location, design, etc, we're fine with knowing we'll have to get new windows (etc, etc) put in.

But. Low-ball on the price, noting the visible flaws which led to that low offer, and make it contingent on no other problems turning up?

Or, regular offer, contingent on 'satisfactory' inspection, and assume tons of negotiations to follow?

Or, another route I'm not thinking of? For the first option, I'm assuming the services of a home inspector/lawyer might be useful to detail said visible flaws. We can notice "antique" (I am being charitable) windows, but not rot around same that would make replacement more expensive, for example.

It's a part-time job at a bookstore. I called once and they said it's ok for students on vacation to apply.
But before I actually head down to the place, I think I should ask more questions...so...
What other things should I enquire about?

Thanks for helping.

Ok i think the stupidest thing happened. Target sent a letter to my mom saying that she was denied more credit to TARGET! out of places..and to check her credit to see if there was an error or why they denied her the extra credit on her card...If she was to pay off all her debts and things that were written of on her credit report..would those debts go away on her credit report..and would negotiating with the companys she owes money wise... fix her credit..she tells me of how she could buy a car with a credit card..but now her credit is all screwed up because of stupid stores like macys and burdines..and what is the highest possible credit score..thanks..i am looking foward to ur answers!

If minimum wage per hour is about 5 dollars, it means if they work at least 8 hours, they will get 40 dollars a day. And that in a month is 1200 USD, which is quite a lot.

5 years ago I suffered a car accident and was sent for observation to a hospital for 20 hours. The amount I should have to pay scared me, as I had no insurance coverage. The amount was for me phisically impossible to pay
Eventually the hospital sent the bill to a collection agency, but I haven't answered any of their letters.
