Just wondering about the restriction on call centres making calls - my son in law is being made to work all hours including sundays in a call centre

Well he is probably taking inbound calls - people call all hours of the day especially if he is in a Customer Service position. I don't know what the laws are for outgoing calls - I believe that it varies state to state.

Call centers do not make calls people call into call centers. I have no idea what your son does but is sounds like he works in a help center and assists people who have problems. The people who answer the phone at your Internet Service Provider are in the office on Sunday to reset your password should you forget it and want to log in to check our e-mail. I am sure you would not be happy if you had to wait until Monday morning to get your password reset. Your son is probably doing a service for those who need his assistance and knowledge.

i worked at a call centre, and well call you anytime - we dont care whether youre sleeping, feeding your babies or dying of a heart attack - all we want is your cash

depends what is in his contract. they can't make him do anything he just needs to state his terms.
