Does the whole 6% come out of the sale price of the home? Doesn't the buyer pay something?

I currently work as a substitute teacher for a popular Childcare facility with 1 year olds to 5 year olds. It has been in operation for 20 years. I am not full-time, and there is no benefits. I have requested full-time and they have told me to be patient since no openings are available.

I recently had a job offer, it is for a Daycare teaching 15 children all are 3 years old. The pay is a $1.00 more and benefits start in 2 months of work. I will be full-time. This place is 2 years new and they want me to work immediately.

My question is, the proper thing is to give 2 weeks notice, but they want me to start this Monday. I explained that I have prior appointments as a substitute for other teachers I need to cover.

What would you do?

i help run a motel, in pasadena california, and finding people for our front desk is very challenging. its been over 8 months before we found a legitimate person who would work for us. We tried everything from goin to local colleges and posting up posters of us looking for employees, but no one seems to care much. Does anyone know how I can find employees?

I have been getting multiple calls for someone who doesn't live here from some company claiming it is not a sales call but they don't say who they are or why they are calling. For instance, if my income this year was $50K (putting me into the 25% bracket when filing single), and my short term capital gains were $50K, would that bump me up to the 28% tax bracket?

Or perhaps I quit my job and only trade stocks, meaning my "income" would only be the interest I make on my bank account, which would put me into the 10% bracket (easily), would that be my capital gains rate, even if I were to make $500K on my short term capital gains.
