Six years ago, my father put my name on the deed to his house with the intention of it being my and my sisters inheritance. For the last year he has resided in a nursing home and will probably not be going home. (Alzheimers) Can I sell the house?

I am currently renting a room in California for $500/month. I found that there are 1 bedroom apartments in Tucson Arizona for the same cost. My credit score is below 600 and I just recently filed for bankruptcy. Will I be able to get an apartment?? What can I do??

I'm trying to find a good night shift/graveyard shift job that would pay between $10-$14 an hour, and is not horribly stressful. I'm a hard worker, I just don't want to be so stressed that I dread going to work every day. I live in Southern California, in case it matters. Any suggestions?

My divorce was final in November 2006, I moved out of the house in Sept 2006. I turned the house over to him in a quick deed in our divorce. My husband is trying to claim all the interest deductions on his taxes and is telling me I'm not entitled to the interest because I turned the house over to him. Do I have rights to the deductions? My daughter just moved to chicago and was there 3 days and started to get bites. They are saying it's her fault, she brought them there. She was living at home with her parents who have never had bugs. All her furniture was stored at home with us. We now have to get items cleaned and possiably throw out furniture.
Her mattress, pillows and chase lounge. Are they responsable for any of this?

He cancels and moves meetings with me on a moment's whim with no respect for my time and planning, he answers his phones (cell and work) during our meetings and talks for several minutes, often about personal stuff to friends and family, my being 5 minutes late is a grave crime but it's OK for him to keep me 15 minutes late or longer, he wanders in and out of my office all day and randomly starts talking to me while I'm working about whatever,and he puts his partial denture in and out of his mouth (like all the way, not just slipping it around inside but puts it out on the desk, then back in, then out...) during meetings.

Does anyone else have it bad like this?

I'm very over worked at work...I have two kids and when they get sick, I must take off...I don't have sick days, I work from 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6 every day, work every other Sat. for 3 hours, still don't get 40 hours a week for some odd reason...I have paper work on top of paper work on my desk. I sometimes don't get fed at work while others get to eat off the buffet line, and get sick days, paid bonuses, and extras while I'm the one doing their work and I don't get anything or recognition...I told my boss I would like a raise - she just laughs it off and say I wish I can give you one. I over heard a higher postion somewhere else is hiring and I suggested she could give me and the employer heads up but she said you are not going anywhere and laughed it off...What can I do?

I know a guy who owns a vehicle transporting business. He needs a dispatcher to communicate with his shipping trucks.
How much do dispatchers usually start out at?
I want my boyfriend to get the job, but only if it pays enough.
He has experience in dispatching, but not with this paticular kind.

I was thinking, did you ever wonder how Credit
Bureau's were allowed to come into being? Talk about
one big invasion of privacy! You just can't call and
say they're invading your privacy take your name off
of their rolls. That takes an act of Congress, better
yet an act of God!

And heaven forbid your name isn't on their rolls, you
can't buy a thing.

I mean think about it, they know everything, your
name, date of birth, SSN, where you live, telephone
number, where you shop, what you like to buy, what you
want to buy, what you drive, what you owe and where,
etc... The CIA should be so good. LOL

Why is it that you can't even rent a car without a
credit card, even worse rent something as simple as a
movie(Blockbuster, et al)cold hard cash is better is
it not? Doesn't seem so does it?

I am with AXA insurance for several years and in August 2005 My home was burnt down. They settled on the buildings and only partial payment on the contents.
I supplied them with all the necessary documentation and photos of items lost but they have declined to put an offer on several items and told me to take it to arbitration.
So I engaged a solicitor to start the process in July 2006 however AXA did not answer my solicitors letters for 4 months and at that stage only a one line letter giving us the name of their solicitor .It is now almost 6 months since AXA told us to go to arbitration.
My question is: due to their delaying tactics am I entitled to sue them for breach of contract etc instead of waiting indefinatly for an arbitrator to decide
