I found a house for $99,900. It's 2 stories with 4br/4bath. A nice neighborhood. The price is great, but I'd really like to get the home owners down so I can buy new furniture. How do I know what to offer? The house is a property of my agent so I wonder if asking her will do any good.

I'm filing for divorce this month and we're splitting our assets 50/50. My tax-savvy EX wants to do the 2006 years taxes as "married filing jointly" so we both can benefit with a larger refund and she says she'll mail me my portion once it's cashed (yea, right). How can I make sure she doesn't get the refund and keep it (she can forge my name very well). She lives across the country from me. Any ideas???? I wonder if I can take care of that through the IRS rather than in my divorce papers. It just seems that no matter what it says it divorce papers...once she's gets it and spends it ..I'll never get it back

Ever since they came out with "double" and "triple" size rolls of TP, the single roll is shrinking and with it the size of the double and triple size rolls. Do they think we are so stupid that we would not notice? Back in the 50s, the soap industry conspired to formulate bar soap so it couldn't be hardened like you grandma used to do by stacking it unwrapped. Now all bar soap melts quickly when it gets wet. They all had to go along with it for it to work and they did, figuring that all would have increased sales if soap disappeared more quickly down the drain.

I received fairly expensive medical services and received a statement that my insurance paid 90%, and that I owed the additional 10%. However, several months have gone by and I have still not received a bill for the additional 10% from my provider. Is there some kind of statute of limitations on billing? I have put aside cash for the bill but am wondering if I'll ever receive it. I don't want to call and remind them, however. What should I do? Any advice? How long do I have to wait before I can be sure they're not going to bill me?

I could understand if they had 9,000 employees. But they only have 4. These people are multimillionaires. Our little pay is not going to hurt them in the least. I just found out that they are underpaying me because they put me on salary and it does not equal out to be $455.00 a week.

Do you work from home? Wait, before you answer, ...think about it, do you REALLY work from home?

Or do you, answer never ending surveys that basically try to get you to sign up for more survey sites that just do the same thing? Are you really getting paid?

Or are you a member of one of those paid to click groups? Do you really get paid, or do you just see 17 cents laying dead in your account?

Or have you been caught up in the "Home Business" trap: Please send me $49 - $500 for a "start-up package"? And what do you get? Please sell my awful smelling health products so that one day you might improve the hole in the ozone? Or maybe it's medical insurance (aka discount cards)? Does your company focus on the elderly because they are a great target market, you know they are sick a lot.

Please don't tell me about any of the programs that fit in any of these categories. Tell me if you really make a pay check. Is it a real job? If you had to pay one red cent for it, it's not real. Tell me!
