Ever since they came out with "double" and "triple" size rolls of TP, the single roll is shrinking and with it the size of the double and triple size rolls. Do they think we are so stupid that we would not notice? Back in the 50s, the soap industry conspired to formulate bar soap so it couldn't be hardened like you grandma used to do by stacking it unwrapped. Now all bar soap melts quickly when it gets wet. They all had to go along with it for it to work and they did, figuring that all would have increased sales if soap disappeared more quickly down the drain.

Yes as with everything. Remember in the 80s when they started with the "Grab Bag" chips. Those bags hold a smaller quantity of chips but are more expensive. They've also done it with the ultra-detergents (but they don't give you a different measuring device). We have been bamboozled, hoodwinked and led-astray! What do we do about it?

Yes, they are rolled very lightly. But you will know what you are getting because, by law, they are required to print on their packaging exactly how much you are getting per roll.

The best value for your money is "Scott" tissue, with the famous 1,000 sheets for roll claim.

Yes, we buy the double-roll toilet paper and one roll is gone in like three days in my house.

Same with razor blades... they disintegrate when exposed to water. Perhaps the world can file a class action suit and get justice!
