Hopefully you are trying to work in an arena that you have a passion for - if not, you may wish to reconsider. Of course it will be difficult! If making money were easy, we'd all be doing it, right?
If you can find a local incubator, you may be able to find some help. Also, the SBA has a program called SCORE to help you find potential mentors. But in both cases, these people can be more than just business references, they can be SUPPORT!
Best of luck!

You must receive some positive feedback! If a venture only appeals to you it won't work. Seek the opinions of others anonymously. That way they will be truthfull and not trying to save your feelings if they think it is not a viable idea.

Attitude is everything. Keep your goal in mind and try to hang tough during the rough times.

My motto is never give up...
Owning a business is not walk in the park...it is a lot of hours...and hard work.
Punching a time clock is much easier...
