I was offered an amazing position in a company. Everyone in my family was so proud, but now I find that they are being investigated by the Government and they have frozen hiring processes. I was at work (I live in Canada currently) and I was handling some customers from the states. They had a Bank of America Visa card. I asked "On your credit?" and they replied this was their debit card. In Canada, debit cards don't have a credit card branding whatsoever, so I was confused at first, but it just ran as a credit transaction. They signed the slip and left.

Now my question is how does they work? Is it just a debit card but without having to use a PIN Number? Do you confuse the two in your wallet?

Im just having a hard time due to only getting half of my normal income. Can I pay half of my payment and still keep my car? The second late payment just came due on the 14th. I can catch up in January but will they apply the 400.00 to the late fees or should I just call and explain why I am sending the $400.00. Thank u!

I'm 24 years old, and I've been working at my job for 2.5 years. It doesn't pay much (26,000/year) but I'm in the process of finding a new one. I have a pretty decent amount of debt, but have a decent start to saving ($2,000). I'm able to make minimum payments on all my debt every month, and able to cover living expenses, but I want to get my debt paid down and start building some wealth. I know I'm smart and savvy enough to be able to build wealth and make good decisions regarding my finances, but some direction and information would be helpful.

Just let go of our listing agent due to lack of marketing and poor communication skills. Considering selling our house ourselves. When you do this is there a way to put it on the MLS? Also we were thinking that if we list and put a 5% commision for the buyers agent instead of paying a 6% split between the buyers agent and sellers agent.
I have heard that 95% of houses sold were not through the sellers agent.
Any ideas???

I have 43 acres of Commercial-Tourist land along a major US Interstate in Oregon. We see 93,000 people drive by every day and the area's population is growing exponentially. It is directly off a highway exit with water and electricity and would be perfect for development. How would I connect with the right people to show them the acreage and get their feedback? My credit is a shambles, I owe the IRS and the state of CA almost 50K I have been out of work since April this year. The penilties and interest are growing like weeds. I'll never get it paid off at this rate. Is there somewhere, with someone that I can get a loan to pay off these and reduce the rate they are increasing. I have just started another job. My income is nothing to sneeze at, but I can't seemto qualify for any type of general type of loan.

Approximately 6 months ago, a debt I had with a company went into collections. I had disputed the debt, but to no avail. Since then, the collection agency has attempted to contact me via telephone 5-10 times a day every single day on my cell phone. I intentionally avoided the calls. Is this harrasment?
